I often find that, like you mentioned, it’s hard to take critciism at first. However, once you sit down and look at the points that are made, you can tell if they will help or hinder your work. Most of the time, the critics aren’t out to hurt you, especially if they are your beloved CPs. In the end, constructive critciism is good, and can, often times, help you to create the best piece of writing that you can.
