The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said they received a call about 11 p.m. Wednesday from someone in Cecilville who said he or she saw Cummins and Thomas and believed they were in a cabin. According to a federal complaint , Cummins, 50, refilled his prescription for erectile dysfunction medication and made reservations for one-bed rooms at multiple Super 8 motels prior to kidnapping Elizabeth. The incident started at 9:30 a.m. Malecki disclosed that while the U.S. Botanic Garden has been temporarily locked down, the U.S. Capitol remains open.
