According to ABC News, it is unknown at this time if Matis has a lawyer. According to state police, Matis removed a 9mm Glock pistol from a holster and "caused the pistol to discharge a bullet in the direction of Hess" at about 4 p.m. The coroner's office identified the teen but will be released after relatives are notified. Average month rental rates for a two-bedroom condominium apartment ranged from a high of $2,029/month in Toronto to a low of $1,033 in Québec City. The lowest rates were seen in Victoria and Abbotsford-Mission (0.5%), Kelowna (0.6%) and Vancouver (0.7%). Rent increased across all regions, with Vancouver's West End/Downtown area seeing a jump from $1,350 to $1,461. (more...)

Morano lives alone and has outlived all her eight brothers and sisters, including one who died at 102. "We're all thinking Emma is eternal, because, despite everything, she always recovers ", Dr. Morano is nearly completely deaf and her sight is limited, but she is otherwise in good health. "So I think you can say she is on good form". She followed a stringent diet of two raw eggs, one cooked egg, a little minced meat and pasta for the past 90 years. (more...)
