A US Consulate official was shot in the chest Friday night in Guadalajara, Mexico, prompting the Federal Bureau of Investigation to offer a $20,000 reward for information on the shooter, whose image was captured on video. WTI Crude Oil (Nymex) for February rose 0.88 percent to settle at Dollars 52.95/barrel. Analysts said higher imports were likely behind the unexpected increase.
