Slovakia, Hungary Not to Dismiss Migrant Quota System Amid ECJ Decision

Slovakia and Hungary's complaints about mandatory refugee quotas - which were backed by Poland - have been dismissed by a top European Union court. Under the plan, Hungary must admit more than 2,300 asylum seekers, while Slovakia must in the long term take in 1,400. The countries claimed the relocation scheme was non-binding as they had voted against the deal, together with the Czech Republic and Romania. (more...)

In May 2016, an $18 billion deal to buy Oncor led by Dallas billionaire Ray Hunt fell apart over regulatory concerns. As per the data showed by the American Petroleum Institute, the stocks of us crude have increased by 2.8 million barrels in the week to 511.4 million. crude futures. The declines were good news for oil markets , where prices have trended lower recently over concerns that rising USA production is offsetting output cuts by OPEC and other major producers and keeping global markets awash in oil. However, U.S. crude production rose to 9.34 million bpd last week, up almost 500,000 bpd from a year ago.
