Pope Asks 'Pro-Life' Trump to Rethink DACA Decision

Pope Francis said that President Trump should reconsider his decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program if he considers himself to be "pro-life".

"I have heard the President of the United States speak", the pope added.

At the end of the day, when he said Mass for hundreds of thousands of people in the city's port area, the bruise had swollen and he had a black bag under his eye.

And he didn't shy away from naming and decrying, one by one, the evils that undermine a culture of encounter including drug abuse, the devastation of natural resources, pollution, the exploitation of labour, illicit money trafficking and financial speculation which, he said, expose millions of men and women to poverty, prostitution, human trafficking, the tragedy of migrants who are exploited and manipulated.

Since former-President Barack Obama implemented the DACA initiative five years ago, almost 800,000 people have been able to work and attend school in the USA without as much fear of deportation.

"If he is a good pro-life believer he must understand that family is the cradle of life and one must defend its unity", Francis said during an in-flight press conference on his plane, according to an Associated Press report. "I don't know if three years is right or not, but if we don't turn back, we'll go down, that's true". Now they'll be sent to countries they've never known.

'Cooperation Between American and Kuwait Has Never Been Stronger'
Sheikh Sabah claimed that the Qatari government was ready to discuss a list of 13 demands from its Arab neighbors. It is a three-day visit as part of the second annual U.S. -Kuwait Strategic Dialogue, according to The National.

"We could ask the pope to intervene directly for dialogue", said Venezuelan housewife Nancy Pugliese, 35, who attended Francis's visit in Cartagena.

While in the city he also paid a visit to the home of St Peter Claver, a 17th-century Jesuit priest who performed Catholic rites for slaves in defiance of their colonial masters who treated them as chattel. They are most clear.

Despite tension over that remark and subsequent differences of opinion, Francis and Trump met at the Vatican in May - and Francis pushed the issue of climate change in person, handing Trump a copy of his own science-laden encyclical about the moral responsibility to protect the environment, just as Trump was mulling his eventual decision to pull out of the Paris climate accord. In a high-profile visit to Rio Grande river, Francis blessed undocumented immigrants and called for "no more deaths!"

Mark Ruffalo said Trump's decision was "a cowardly act" and called Trump's team "a cruel, vindictive and heartless administration intent on tearing at the very fabric of the American dream".

During the presidential campaign a year ago, the pontiff said a person "who only thinks about building walls" is "not Christian".
