Hillary Clinton: Donald Trump's speech 'a cry from the white-nationalist gut'

Hilary Clinton at the Women in the World Summit in New York in April 2017

Over the next few weeks, Hillary Clinton will be making the rounds to promote her new book What Happened.

Clinton elaborated on areas where she thought she could have improved her campaign, singling out her inability to connect with many individuals still recovering from the economic recession, and saying her "most important" mistake was using a private email server while serving as secretary of state, which she said was "presented in such a negative way" that her campaign couldn't recover.

Hillary Clinton thinks Donald Trump's Inauguration speech was actually a rallying cry for white nationalists. and she blurted that out on national television.

Clinton said she isn't ready to fade out of the public eye, even if her days of being a candidate are over. Clinton visits ABC's The View Wednesday, CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, Sept. 19. and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Wednesday, November 1.

Despite Clinton's denials about the impact of her comment, an internal study conducted on behalf of her campaign suggested that voters were turned off by the quip. Am I the person that people can trust in the end to make hard decisions?' Or do I wheel around and say, 'Get outta my space.

"Is your political career over?"

One could imagine Clinton crafting a final, meaningful political chapter for herself aimed at inspiring a women's movement so that 53 percent of white females won't vote for the next toxic masculinity candidate just because he's white; or challenging the conservative billionaires' decades-long effort to dilute or suppress poor and brown votes by gerrymandering and using the courts.

"So there I was, on the platform, you know, feeling like an out-of-body experience", she recalled.

"I thought Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner", she said, defending her widely criticized campaign statement.

Fed Vice President Fischer resigns
Yellen's predecessor, Ben Bernanke, served two terms from 2006-2014, spanning both the Bush and Obama presidencies. The resignation of Stanley Fischer, 73, creates another vacancy on the council that oversees the USA central bank.

And, she added, "Yes, I had my fair share of Chardonnay".

"She paints decent Americans, you, as racists", Trump told a crowd in Manchester, New Hampshire, after her speech.

Bernie Sanders for making what she said were unrealistic campaign promises, and Vice President Joe Biden for his criticisms of her inability to connect with some white working class voters.

'You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.

I thought his behavior as we saw on the Access Hollywood tape was deplorable.

"I understood that there were many Americans who, because of the financial crash, there was anger".

HILLARY CLINTON: I think I am good, but that doesn't mean I'm complacent or resolved about what happened.

"I don't know quite what audience he was playing to", Clinton remarked.
