Mel B: Simon Cowell's Crude Joke Gets Him Doused With Water

America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel Mel B Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell

Silver-haired Judge Mel B hurled a cup of water at Simon Cowell on America's Got Talent after he cracked a crude "wedding night" joke at her expense during the show.

Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandell all stood to recognize the performer's brilliant rendition of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from the Tony-winning musical Dreamgirls.

The former Spice Girl, who is going through a rough divorce from estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, did not think it was amusing when Cowell made a crack about Mel's wedding night after it appeared that magician Demian Aditya's trick went sideways.

This pissed off the Spice Girl, who is still enduring a nasty divorce proceeding, because before Simon could even finish his talking, she grabbed her Dunkin Donuts mug and bathed him with the drink.

During Tuesday's quarterfinals, a magician suffered a technical malfunction that resulted in a lackluster performance. Mel B then stormed off the set.

Upon Brown's dramatic exit, "America's Got Talent" host Tyra Banks stated "this is live TV y'all - live TV". Afterward, she told "Entertainment Tonight": "He should know, if you say something inappropriate he's gonna get like stuff thrown at him.In a friendly way".

This is not the first time the two have come to "throws" during this season of the competition.

The female singer reportedly made her exit from the scene, and the incident was seen by the live viewers of the reality talent show.

For her part, Brown said simply, "Well, what else can you do?"
