Tom Cruise Injured While Filming Stunt on 'Mission: Impossible 6' Set

While the complete details are a bit murky at time of reporting, what's clear is that Cruise's injury could affect the filming schedule for Mission: Impossible 6 and, furthermore, it could affect the film itself.

Tom Cruise injured himself in London today when a high-octane stunt went wrong and saw him crashing into the side of a building while filming "Mission: Impossible 6".

While he had tried to run and jump from a platform onto another structure while wearing a safety wire, TMZ reports with exclusive footage available at their network that he appeared to "leap too soon", hitting the building.

The 55-year-old actor is well known for performing many of his own stunts.

The actor has also recently been seen taking helicopter lessons, reportedly for his upcoming "Top Gun" sequel "Top Gun: Maverick". The film likewise stars Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin.
