WhatsApp's Latest Milestone is 1-Billion Daily Active Users

Facebook last month said it had reached 2 billion monthly users, and yesterday noted that as of June it had 1.32 billion daily users.

Mark Zuckerberg also announced that 250 million use Whatsapp Status every day, which, to be honest, is a bit of a surprise.

In addition to the one billion total active users milestone, WhatsApp announced that users are now sending 55 billion messages per day, 4.5 billion photos and 1 billion videos, and it's now at 1.3 billion monthly active users.

The original subscription fee was stopped after Facebook bought the company for £11.4 billion in 2016.

The Sims 4 Coming To Console This Fall
The Sims 4 , the latest entry in Electronic Arts' iconic life-simulation franchise, first debuted for the PC back in 2014. Despite featuring powerful hardware specifications, Microsoft claims the Xbox One X is its smallest console.

WhatsApp has been adding a host of convenient features to platform ever since it was taken over by Facebook.

The national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre of the United Kingdom, Action Fraud has issued a warning to all of its Whatsapp users in a blog post.

The messaging app that continues to drive user base for Facebook. WhatsApp is supposed to roll out services, which could allow businesses like banks, airlines, etc to interact directly with the customers on the messaging platform. A Twitter user has even posted a screenshot of the alleged recall feature on the WhatsApp Web version number 0.2.5370. The app has become the quintessential messenger to communicate with peers, whether it's a casual observation or a group to discuss office matters. This feature is now similar to how Stories work on Instagram and Snapchat. This is more than the entire daily user base for Snapchat.

With Facebook owning WhatsApp now and how they are bringing ads to the Facebook messenger, could they end up doing the same in WhatsApp in order to monetize it?
