The Venom Movie And Spider-Man: Homecoming Might Be Connected After All

Sony's 'Venom' Will Be in the Same Universe as 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'

Ever since the announcement of Sony's Marvel Universe, fans have wondered how the studio would go about telling stories surrounding key Spider-Man characters without Spider-Man himself, so Pascal's comments, sort of, clarify that aspect of the forthcoming movie universe. And, contrary to reports, the door isn't closed on Tom Holland showing up in them. What's perhaps even more confusing though is what's going on with Venom.

Homecoming star Tom Holland confirmed that the upcoming film is part of a planned trilogy, it came not so much as a surprise but rather as confirmation of what's essentially become a foregone conclusion regarding both Marvel Studios and modern Hollywood's approach to moviemaking. And that's just the start. It makes for some unusual narrative gymnastics to have a Venom or Black Cat movie that includes Spider-Man, but pretends that all the MCU-related parts of the character simply don't exist.

Tiger Shroff, who has enthralled the audience with his superhero avatar in A Flying Jatt, will be lending his voice for Hindi dubbed version of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Once that deal with Marvel is up, Sony could do with the character what they like. Venom (starring Tom Hardy in the lead role) and Silver & Black stand-alone films have been announced. She doesn't specifically say anything about the MCU, but in a recent interview, the producer noted that it's all taking pace "in the same world". The frustration lide with the revelation that these movies would not only have ZERO ties to the new Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man, but there would be no Spider-Man in this world at all! "I mean, they'll be adjuncts to it, they may be different locations, but it will all still be in the same world and they will be connected to each other as well". Then again, since this is technically a Sony Pictures movie that is being done in collaboration with Marvel Studios, they may not be so keen on promoting a film that they're not involved with.

Sheriff David Clarke reverses acceptance of Homeland Security role
Homeland Security and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. "And feel for my career staff". The Milwaukee County Sheriff reportedly rescinded his acceptance of the position, which he was slated to begin in June.

Confused yet? Just wait, it gets worse.

There's a chance. There's always a chance. The simplest answer is that Pascal didn't 100 percent know what she was talking about, a reading that supported slightly by Feige's silently, mildly confused look as she speaks. So why are we hearing talk about parts of the new Sony Spider-verse not actually being a part of the MCU? And it's unlikely that Homecoming will make things any clearer.

Whenever it does end up releasing, the eight minutes of gameplay that we got at E3 was enough to sell many people on the game.
