All three members of the House whose names were reported by The Daily Caller are members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

Democratic and Republican lawmakers have roundly condemned Hodgkinson's actions and called for a moment of unity immeidately after the shooting.

The suspect in the shooting at the congressional baseball practice earlier this week had a list including the names of some members of Congress on him, CBS News has confirmed. He was shot by a responding officer and later died from his wounds.
