You won't hear Trump's name once during 'Broad City' season 4

ENTERTAINMENT Broad City will censor Trump's name like a swear word 14 Jun 2017 10:50am Quick Read × Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson from Broad City

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, who star in and created the ridiculously amusing show, toldUSA Today this week Trump's name is getting bleeped out, just like any other swear word on the basic cable channel.

"Broad City" is coming back for Season 4, and you won't be hearing much about President Trump: The stars have made it clear that Mr. Trump has no place on their show.

Typically when the "bleep" sound is heard on television, it means that someone used an expletive or took something to the extreme. Of course, Trump's name isn't actually bleeped out here but I'm thinking there's a possibility that it will be when the episode actually airs.

The fourth season of Broad City premieres on Comedy Central August 23. In an interview with USA Today, the show's star and co-creator Ilana Glazer said that "Trump" will be replaced with bleeps during the course of the season. She told USA Today that she was forced to rewrite most of the fourth season following Trump's election.

Gulf states announce humanitarian hotline for mixed Qatari families
Treasury rules, according to a Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA, filing on Friday with the Justice Department. The US' "expectation is that these countries will immediately take steps to resolve the situation", he added.

Of course, the writers of Broad City have an audience who will probably eat this up.

"We wrote (this season) being like, 'Here we go!" Their characters had a full fan-girl meltdown during Clinton's cameo. But after "this game-show host became president of our country, we rewrote a lot".

Feeling like the media is a little too Trump-saturated lately?

And in one forthcoming episode in the new season, Glazer's eponymous character watches her feminist witch power decrease "because it's just so hard to [orgasm] when you know so many people are in danger", Glazer said.
