South Korea's In-Kyung Kim wins ShopRite LPGA Classic

Amelia Lewis plays a tee shot on the 12th hole during the second round of the LPGA LOTTE Championship Presented By Hershey

With a change at the top of the world rankings looming today, South Korea's Ryu So-yeon made little headway to make sure she is the one to supplant world No. 1 Lydia Ko at the end of the tournament.

Sweden's Anna Nordqvist got off to a hot start in her bid for a third straight LPGA ShopRite Classic crown on Friday with a seven-under-par 64.

The last time Ryu did not complete a tournament was the 2014 Evian Masters, where she was disqualified after the first round.

“I feel like I enjoy this place, but at the same time, I dont feel like I have anything to prove here, ” Nordqvist said.

Already the first golfer from the region to win a Major championship when she claimed the Women's British Open previous year, she has now made more history without hitting a ball.

Creamer, meanwhile, faded with a three-over 74 that left her in a group sharing seventh on 207.

Creamer said being on the clock was distracting.

Manager: Allman tried to keep playing music until the end
All of Allman's five children except Island - each of the five has a different mother - have played music professionally. Cher , 71, and Gregg , 69, were married for four years before divorcing in 1979 and they have son Elijah Blue together.

Kim said the concentration required in the hard, windy conditions meant she didn't realize until the final hole that she had a two-stroke cushion.

Kim and Creamer finished two shots ahead of the field at 9-under-par 133 on Saturday after the second round at the Bay Course at the Stockton Seaview Resort and Golf Club just west of Atlantic City.

"I feel really pleased with how I played today", Kim said at her post-tournament press conference. "It was so windy, just keeping it in play was tough", said Kim after a round that saw the leaders take nearly five hours to finish.

Paula Creamer and In-Kyung Kim topped the Classic leaderboard after two rounds with a pair of four-under 67s to be nine under. "There is a little bit of pressure coming into it, but it's just been fun".

She closed out her round with back-to-back birdies and said she's feeling "even stronger" after a winter spent rehabbing injuries suffered in a freak fall down some stairs. "I knew there was a time I was going to kind of breakthrough". She started on No. 10 and birdied the first three holes, then birdied four of the last six holes of the day.

Ko was guaranteed to lose the top spot to Jutanugarn or Ryu this weekend, and Jutanugarn got the position when Ryu failed to make the cut - needing a top three finish at the tournament to claim the top spot in the rankings. Korda, 18, is the younger sister of four-time LPGA victor Jessica Korda.

Kim also parred the rest of her way after the bogey at the 14th to close out a two-shot win.
