According to the National Weather Service, after a comfortable high of 70 on Monday (though breezy), the temperatures will continue to rise.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

There is a 30 percent chance for rain, mostly after 5 p.m. There's a chance of precipitation in the evening, with rain likely after midnight.

Forecasts for Friday and Saturday reveal a mixed bag of cloud, rain and sunny spells, with the risk of thunder and lightning likely for Northern Ireland, south and central England.

Thursday is to be partly sunny with a high in the upper 60s, the weather service said. Tuesday will be cooler too with highs only in the mid-50s. Partly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees.
