Naseemuddin Siddiqui's explosive allegation against Mayawati after expulsion

Former UP Minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui

Mr Siddiqui, she added, would later threaten them with expulsion and blackmail them.

Our correspondent reports that Naseemuddin Siddiqui and his son Afzal were expelled from the BSP yesterday, for anti party activities.

He also alleged that after the crushing defeat in the recently-concluded Assembly elections in UP, Mayawati questioned him on why Muslims did not vote for BSP. Accusing Mayawati of having referred to "bearded Muslims as dogs", Siddiqui claimed he had objected to the remark.

As for Siddiqui's charge that Mayawati used derogatory language against the Muslims, she said she had always respected the minorities and his claims were a "bundle of lies".

Siddiqui has not only charged her with asking for Rs 50 crore, but has also Managed to substantiate his point to some extent by releasing a series of conversations he had with the BSP chief.

"BSP is being knowingly weakened by Mayawati and Anand Kumar (her brother) under a conspiracy by Satish Mishra and Company.people are also of the view that since Mayawati has attained the height which she wanted to reach, she herself wants to end BSP so that no other among the Dalit Samaj could reach this far", a visibly angry Siddiqui said.

There will be an natural disaster if I expose Mayawati and BSP's secrets.

Gibbons has always applauded Goins defensive prowess - and he made a couple of spectacular athletic plays again Monday. Bauer has been largely ineffective and his problems have led to a 2-3 record with a high 7.67 ERA over five outings.

Siddiqui said he told Mayawati that "Muslims have voted for the BSP but due to the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance, they got confused and divided".

The reproduction of the story/photograph in any form will be liable for legal action.

As for BSP Rajya Sabha member and General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra, who was also targeted by Siddiqui, Maywati said Mishra had in fact served the BSP with dedication, so much so that he fought many party cases but did not charge legal fee.

When the party failed to win people demanded that their money be returned, Mishra said and "Siddiqui tried to dispose of his benami properties, but told everyone that he was doing so because the party is demanding money from him". However, Siddiqui claims that the allegations leveled against him and his son are false.

Interestingly, Naseemuddin Siddiqui has been one of the most prominent faces of the BSP for years and a former top UP minister. Though he lost the 1993 assembly election, Mayawati sent him to the legislative council.

Only Siddiqui and Mishra were allowed to use helicopters to campaign by Mayawati. But he was later made in charge of the party's affairs in Madhya Pradesh.

Mayawati had won the 2007 UP elections, her last big win, by creating a rainbow coalition of Dalits-Upper castes, Muslims and even backward caste voters.
